Top 10 Workout Songs

Working out at the gym can be something that needs a little extra motivation when it comes to actually getting started and as we have told you that setting up a tracklist on your music player will help to get your mind into focus, here is our top 10 workout songs playlist:

One of the most played songs on our gym playlist, this has to be considered as the ultimate motivator.
The fact that the song is fast, upbeat and associated with a boxer looking to get back into shape definitely gets us in the mood for pushing our body to the limit.
2. Eye of the Tiger – Survivor
A huge favourite with many gym users that are looking to get that little extra push to be able to top their limits while working out.
3. Beat It -Michael Jackson
Some could say that they are surprised by the inclusion of this track within the list but believe me, when you need that little extra push to up your weight, the strain is instantly forgotten as the late Michael Jackson tells you to beat it!
4. Mortal Kombat Theme Song
A massively upbeat song that will help you focus while doing cardiovascular workouts such as running on the treadmill or even high rep weight exercises.
5. X Gunna Give To Ya – DMX
A fast tempo track that is sure to bring out the fighter spirit within you. We find that listening to this song while on the chest press will definitely increase your resilience at the times that you need it most.
6. Can’t Be Touched – Roy Jones JR
Huge track that is set to lift you during the resting periods of your weight session. Could this song be sending subliminal messages? Either way, we feel like Superman while its playing.
7. Remember The Name – Fort Minor
Get a little gangster with yourself and pump iron to the rap of Fort Minor. A great song that takes your mind off the pain and focuses on the gain!
8. The Contender Theme Tune
A personal favourite for us, the theme tune from the television series The Contender. No words, just clean and uplifting music.
9. Forever Young – Jay-Z feat. Mr Hudson
Massive hit song that offers high tempo beats that will push you to your limits and beyond.
10. Hey Baby (Drop it to the Floor) – Pitbull feat. Akon
Find the right tempo version of this and you will be pushing weights effortlessly within seconds of this track beginning.
